Newcomers Club - Interest Groups
Special Interest groups are the lifeblood of the Newcomers Club. It allows members to connect with other members with similar interests and hobbies. There are several groups already up and running that you can join or we can help you start a new group. The possibilities are endless; bowling, knitting, needlework, making cards, playing card games, gardening, wine tasting, walking, scrabble, bridge, book clubs, bunco, lunch, crafts, recipe clubs, dinner clubs, day trip clubs or craft clubs, anything you can imagine.
If interested in joining an existing group, see below to reach the group leader or look for sign-up sheets at the coffee meeting. If interested in starting a new group please feel free to reach out to Catherine LaRose at 843-956--5614 or catherinelarose@gmail.com to assist you in forming a new group. We can help you with putting it in the Newsletter and having sign-up sheets at the coffee meetings.
In addition, if you are interested in helping to coordinate the groups reach out to Catherine for details.
